This evening cordoned off, Lodge Lane, Beeston, Leeds, Yorkshire, UK.
Near the home of one of the bombers, 22-year-old Shehzad Tanweer.
A police spokeswoman said: "We have got an address in Lodge Lane cordoned off and under the supervision of police officers from West Yorkshire in co-operation with the ongoing Metropolitan Police inquiry.
"As a precautionary measure there is a 30-metre cordon around the premises. Officers are currently assessing the situation and more information will be available as soon as it is known."
Most of Yorkshire are in total shock regarding the fact that the London Bombers are living within our community.
I found being at the scene where the bombs were located (confirmed today by the Metropolitan Police) very frightening, and not only are my thoughts and prayers with the victims and families of the london bombings but also with the residents and families who have been unknowingly living next to these bomb factorys.
Sorry to have offended you
But if all we do is cry over the dead and fear another bombing then the terrorists will have won. I was just trying to lighten the mood slightly
No need to appologise we all deal with these things in our own way, I guess being there in person with the bombs 30 meters away really brought the danger and madness of it all home.
The hatred of man against man and the extremes people will go to never ceases to amaze me
your pics are as good as ever ,given the circumstances , as brawny says we need to move on and not let them win , perhaps you could take some pics showing solidarity and defiance of the people of leeds and the country as a whole ? just a thought
I remember this day. I was particularly worried as my dad works as a tube driver. Two of his colleagues were sent to help when a power failure was suspected and you can guess what they saw. This piece basically captures how everything was back then, raids everywhere. RIP all who passed away
